In my research, I deal with the analysis and design of processes. My focus is on the analysis of process variability, which can arise due to a high diversity of process requirements or dynamic process changes. Process variability can be used to gain a variety of insights into the design of processes. For example, analyzing process variability can help to increase both the efficiency and flexibility of processes. It can also identify potential for automation as well as anomalies in process execution. Furthermore, process variability can help to better understand the behavior of users when interacting with operational information systems.
