I study different applications of modeling with formal or semi-formal modeling languages like petri nets, event-driven process chains, Unified Modeling Language or Business Process Model and Notation. An important role of my research is addressing the higher education context, especially digitalization (e-assessment) and competence-orientation in the area of graphical modeling
